Casinacho Games: the little bundle that keeps winning my thumbs

I downloaded Casinacho Games expecting to bounce off it in a day. A week later it's still on my home screen, which is more than I can say for a lot of bigger releases. It's a bundle of short mini-games, and the trick is that each one is built around a single clear idea you understand in seconds.

The controls are the reason it works on a phone. Almost everything is one thumb: a tap, a hold, the occasional swipe. That means I can play it standing on a crowded tram without dropping anything, and the touch response never felt laggy on either device I tried.

What surprised me most was how it treats the battery. Twenty minutes barely registered on the meter and my phone stayed cool the whole time, which is the opposite of most flashy mobile games. If you want something for a queue or a commute, this fits.

My advice: don't go in expecting depth. Casinacho Games is a snack, not a meal. But as a snack it's tuned really well, and I keep opening it when I only meant to check the time.
