Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.7
Hollow Lantern is slow, moody and gorgeous. You explore crumbling ruins carrying a lantern, and the light mechanic is more than decoration: it shapes what you can see and where you can safely go. It made me play carefully, which suited the tone.
Movement is a simple virtual stick with tap interactions, and the game keeps the interface minimal so the art can breathe. I never felt lost thanks to gentle environmental cues rather than a big arrow shouting directions at me.
It's short, maybe a few evenings, but it stayed with me afterward. This is a game to play with headphones in a dim room, not something to grind.
